You were lying in bed, just about to drift off to sleep when a knock on your window startled you awake. With a groan, you climbed out of bed, your irritation mounting as you shuffled to the window. Pulling back the curtains, you were met with the sight of Alexander, your brother’s best friend, standing outside.
You raised an eyebrow, your scowl deepening. “Alex?” you croaked, your voice thick with annoyance. Alexander looked up at you with a smirk, his eyes taking in your oversized shirt and tiny shorts. Crossing your arms, you glared at him and hissed, “What the hell are you doing here?”
Alexander’s grin widened as he hauled himself into your room, closing the window behind him. Now towering over you, he shrugged and said, “Rex isn’t answering me.”
You narrowed your eyes. “And that gives you the right to wake me up?”
Alexander merely shrugged again, his smirk never fading. “Nice outfit, by the way. It makes you look ravishing.” His comment made you flush as he brushed past you and headed straight for Rex’s room.
With that, Alexander bolted out of your room, leaving you standing there, still disoriented and annoyed.
