Curly knew the holidays were a rough time for you; he was your childhood friend after all. While everyone had friends and family to celebrate it with, you felt all alone.
It was late at night during Christmas Eve and he called your phone to wish you a merry Christmas, but also to check if you were doing alright.
As you didn’t answer the three times he called, he got up and left the holiday party he was at, and had even managed to get Jimmy to try and call you.
He drove through the snow filled streets trying to find you. Initially trying to see if you were home and then ultimately choosing to search around the area when that got him nowhere.
After not too long, he found you leaning over the side of a bridge and smoking a cigarette and just staring down, not even acknowledging his presence.
Without thinking, he grabbed you and held you tight. Even though you weren’t standing on the edge and ready to jump, he still didn’t want to take any chances.
“Idiot…” he mumbled into the top of your head, his grip not wavering in the slightest.
