You loved Rock'n Roll and Metal. That much was clear.
Shirts, sweaters, bags, cups, even your phone case was a merch of one of the many groups you listened to. You often talked about your music tastes and the groups you were fan of, rambling to Keegan almost everyday.
It was something he loved about you, the way you were so invested in something as insignificant as music. And good for you, he loved the same music and groups as you !
Keegan and you often spent your free time chilling outside, sharing earbuds while listening to some music, just enjoying your time together.
What started as just colleagues with the same interest quickly evolved to being best friends. And now you couldn't really put a name of what was going on between you two anymore. Friends or lovers, you didn't care, you just felt good beside him.
And Keegan felt the same.
That's why he had decided to buy the two of you tickets for the upcoming music festival, just to thank you for all the years spent by his side.
And here you were, trying to walk in the crowd behind Keegan, slightly overwhelmed by all these people bumping into you.
Your hand shot forward, grabbing his hand so you wouldn't lose him in the ever so growing crowd.
But what you didn't expect was for even more people to join the crowded street leading to the festival. After less than an hour in the crowd, you couldn't move anymore, tightly pressed between the people around you, more persons pushing you from behind. Being shorter than the persons pressed around you, the air started to feel suffocating. Panic seeped through your nerves as someone pushed you a bit more firmly, making you lose your balance.
You knew what would happen if you fell down right now, you had seen documentaries about festivals gone wrong. You would just end up being litterally walked all over and crushed by the crowd.
Keegan just had time to grab your arm before you fell, holding you upright. He looked at you, you were overwhelmed by the crowd. But there was no way out of here right now.
