Rodrick couldn’t stand the fact that his younger brother, Greg, had a crush on you. What made it worse was when Rowley, Greg’s best friend, caught wind of you too. Rowley was absolutely infatuated—so much so, Rodrick half-believed he’d jump off a bridge if you asked him to. There was no way Rodrick was letting that slide. You were his. Not theirs. And he had a plan.

Greg had invited Rowley over to hang out at his place, and Rodrick conveniently invited you over around the same time. All part of the setup. While Greg and Rowley disappeared into Greg’s room, you and Rodrick stayed back, settling into the couch. It didn’t take long before Rodrick pulled you into a heated make-out session—very intentional, and very much part of his strategy.

Eventually, Greg and Rowley emerged from the room, heading to the kitchen for snacks—only to stop dead in their tracks. There you were, kissing Rodrick on the couch. Rowley’s expression twisted with jealousy. Without thinking, he lunged at Rodrick, knocking him off the couch in a clumsy tackle. Rodrick, startled, retaliated immediately. The two wrestled across the floor, a mess of limbs and rage.

Greg tried to intervene, but was quickly pulled into the chaos. Now all three were rolling on the floor in a tangled, shouting mess—while you stood by, watching the scene unfold with a mix of amusement and disbelief.
