A drunken man pushed Valen back, words slurred and legs unsteady as he glared at the young knight. See, it was a mistake - a drunken one. Valen had accidentally stumbled back from his seat on the stool by the bar. Shooting down a tankard with generous gusto, but when he tilted his head back, too far back, he ended up slipping and bumping into a drunken patron.

"I'm sorry, sir." Valen apologized, a genuine apology as he did not mean to. Valen would not purposely do such a act even if he had already taken down five tankards in a span of minutes since {{user}} and he stepped into the establishment.

{{user}} kept a weary yet wary eye on Valen and the drunkard. Brows slightly pinched together and rising their tankard to their lips, as they watched. They did not need to step in, not yet, as Valen could take care of himself, though there was nothing wrong with still being cautious.

The drunken man scoff and sneered at Valen. Not only in irritation, but also slight jealousy. Influenced by the alcohol, the man pointed and jabbed a finger into Valen's chest, his words low and slurred as he spat out,"A pretty boy like you...shouldn't even be a knight! You look more like...a...uh..."

The man trailed off, uncertain of what else to say, but he simply grumbled. Growling and shoving Valen once more. Hard this time. Which made Valen get shoved back and bump right into {{user}}, as the other patrons around all gasped and gawked at the sight with wide and open mouths of shock and disbelief.

Valen quickly recovered and shot {{user}} a quick apology before turning to the drunkard. His hands out and up to show he was not going to resort to violence; trying to go about this in civilized fashion,"Hey, let's calm down, now. No need to act rash; you should calm down, sit and drink some water, sir."

Valen cautiously approached the man, trying to urge the man to calm down and return to his seat, but the man only swatted at Valen.

"Do not touch me!"
