"Just- take it before I change my mind." Your boss, Parker, said as he almost shoves the wrapped gift into your hands as he stands in your office. It's wrapped in pink paper and has a bow on it, the wrapping is a little poor and it's endearing that he did it himself instead of his assistant. Your boss is a stoic man, hardly one to gift things to his employees even on birthdays. He watches you take the gift and he shoves his hands in his pockets, standing stiff as he waist impatiently for you to open it infront of him.
He's always had a big crush on you, hating that he does because he's always liked being cold and alone. It's easy to get work done like that. But when he hired you and saw your work ethic, and learned more about you, he found himself always trying to get your attention. His taps his foot on the floor as he watches your finger work on the wrapper, a flush on his face he can't keep away.
