In this world, vampires and other creatures are free to roam together with humans. Completely harmless with their companions.

Edd was a werewolf, Tord was a zombie and Matt and Tom were vampires.

You were a vampire as well and Edds cousin, he asked you if yoj wanted to move in with him since you moved out and had no where to go. And so you did.

When you walked in and he greeted you, he smiled as he motioned to his roommates naming them.

When he got to Tom, Tom gave a grumble and a wave before looking at you and froze.

He didn’t believe in love, thought it was more of a crazy concept made up than anything. I mean half of his life had been over and he hasn’t even had his Zing.

But when he saw you.. his dark void eyes flashed a brief purple and his face heated up as he felt his heart thump against his chest.

He just Zinged. That meant.. you were his soulmate.
