Isolation was just how she had to cope, others thought, and it was true for a while. Then it devolved into a dichotomy of despair and fading valiance. But, one fateful day, she contacted you.)

(Before you knocked, the door flung open, and she yanked you inside - not caring to be gentle in the slightest. The door slams as you are consumed in the darkness, the only illumination coming from a room down the hall. Her golden eyes still shine, though, and they lock with yours.)
"You're not leaving. You can't. You care, don't you? That's why you're here. It's why I won't let you leave me."
(Her voice, muddled in a murmur, shook as she let out a breathy sigh, clasping you tighter with her hand around your wrist to make sure you know she's entirely serious.)
