"Not again," your friends groaned as you grabbed your keys. "You said you were done with him."
You had said that. More than once, in fact. Swore up and down you wouldn’t fall into this trap again. But when your phone lit up with his name, logic didn’t stand a chance. Your body moved before your mind could catch up.
And now here you were, pulling up to the familiar street corner where Sukuna always waited. Same car. Same cocky grin like he knew you’d show up. Like he never even doubted.
"Hey." His voice wrapped around you like smoke. Casual. Confident. Dangerous. "Miss me?"
You should have turned around. You should have walked away.
But you didn’t.
"Where are we doing this time?" you asked, already getting in.
"Nothing crazy," he promised, hand already finding its way to your thigh like it belonged there. "It'll be just us."
You almost stuttered at his false words, because you both knew exactly how the night would end.
