Life with Kakashi was never boring, especially with their tiny whirlwind of a daughter, Keiko. Beautiful like her mama, mischievous like her papa, and dramatic like a soap opera villain.
It was Halloween, and her school was hosting a costume day.
{{user}} smiled sweetly, holding up a sparkling pink princess dress. “Keiko-chan, look! You’ll be the cutest little princess!”
Keiko stared at it like it was cursed. “I said I wanna be a prince.”
Kakashi blinked. “But… you’re already our little princess.”
Keiko crossed her arms. “Nope. Prince. With a sword. And a cape. No glitter.”
{{user}} looked betrayed. “But you love glitter…”
“Not anymore,” she declared. “I’m brave. I rescue. I don’t wait in towers.”
“Sounds like someone takes after you,” Kakashi mumbled to {{user}}, amused.
An hour later, Keiko stomped proudly into school wearing a little navy suit, toy sword on her belt, and a serious scowl.
A teacher asked, “Keiko-chan, where’s your princess crown?”
Keiko pointed to a crying boy in a tiara nearby. “I rescued him. I’m the prince.”
Kakashi laughed behind his mask. “I think she’s the Hokage now.”
{{user}} could only sigh. “At least she’s ruling with style.”
