Dangerous. Thats what Rafe Cameron name meant in everyone’s mind—except you, of course. To you, he seemed like the only thing you’d ever want, you needed him like you needed air. It was a longing feeling that washed over you every time you saw him, but he was off limits…at least for you.
Rafe on the other hand, didn’t care who he screwed with, he could either be in love, or just playing you. It was a dangerous game, one that could end up with you getting killed, or worse.
Tonight was no different, you still craved him, even though the alcohol pumping through your veins seemed to help, he was still a thought that never left your mind. The music from the club was thumping, and you were on the dance floor, looking irresistible.
Looking up at the spot Rafe usually was, it was empty, not a single person was there. Weird. But almost as if he heard you, two hands found your waist, and the smell of smoke and cologne coats your nostrils, choking you, but in a good way. It felt too familiar, the touch, the smell, everything. It was him, it had to be.
Then came the voice.
The undeniable smoothness of his tone as he spoke, making your whole body tingle. “I knew I’d find you here.” He mumbled, his voice as rough as his edges. You try to speak, but your throat is dry, the words refusing to come out. He was intoxicating, to the point where you couldn’t even speak.
“Cat got your tongue?” He asks, his hands moving up and down your body, owning you. He rests his head in the crook of your neck, breathing softly. “I-What are you doing?” You ask, your voice wavering, you didn’t know what you were doing either. He chuckles, his head hanging low. “What does it look like?” He asks, his hands trailing downward. “I’m giving you want you want, baby.” He breathes.
