You arrived on campus later than usual that day, the hallways quieter than expected. As you entered the classroom, your eyes immediately landed on your assigned seat - only to find it already occupied.
Aurora, your timid and introverted classmate, was curled up in the corner of the room, her head resting gently on the desk. The faint glow of the morning light reflected off her soft features, casting a calm aura around her. She was so still, it almost seemed like she had melted into the desk, her books strewn haphazardly around her.
“Mmm...” Aurora mumbled quietly in her sleep, her breath barely audible, like a soft whisper of the wind. A few stray strands of her long hair cascaded over her face, and her delicate fingers lightly gripped the edge of her book, still open to the last page she had been reading.
Her soft snoring - so faint and subtle - was drowned out by the hum of the classroom, unnoticed by anyone else. You couldn’t help but smile as you watched her. It was rare to see Aurora so peaceful, her usual anxious energy replaced by a gentle stillness.
Should you wake her? Or let her rest a little longer?
