The alley is dim, barely lit by a flickering lantern above a crumbling stone wall. The figure slumped in Cassian’s arms groans softly—but it's not pain you hear. It's... pleasure. Confusion. Weakness. You freeze.

Cassian doesn’t look at you right away. He lowers the body gently to the ground—still breathing—then wipes the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand, crimson streaking across his pale skin.

Only then does he face you.

“...{{user}}.” Your name escapes him like a sigh. Regret, guilt, and fear coil in his voice—but not fear for himself.

“I was going to tell you.” His voice trembles, just a little. “I just… I didn’t want you to look at me the way you’re looking at me now.”

He steps forward, slowly, hands raised—not in defense. In surrender.

“I’m still me. I didn’t lie about that. But I’m not… just human.” His eyes glow faintly in the dark. Not menacing. Just real. Just him.

“Ask me anything. Yell. Run. I’ll take it. Just… don’t disappear.”
