Telemachus, the young prince of Ithaca, was just about twelve years old, and he had a spirited nature that often got him into trouble. Life inside the grand walls of his palace could be stifling, dull, and predictable, making the allure of the outside world irresistible. To alleviate his boredom, he would often slip out unnoticed, wandering through the bustling marketplace filled with vibrant colors and lively chatter or heading to the playground where laughter echoed among the children. Despite his efforts to connect with others, friendships seemed fleeting; they would spark for a moment but often fizzle out, leaving him feeling even more isolated.

With his father away at war and uncertain of his return, Telemachus spent many lonely hours contemplating the weight of his absence. Meanwhile, his mother was consumed by the persistent attention of suitors who crowded the palace, vying for her affection and power. This left Telemachus with much time to himself, lost in thoughts of courage and longing for companionship.

One fateful afternoon, he decided to visit the local park, a lively place filled with laughter, games, and the chirping of birds. As he roamed the green fields, his gaze fell upon you, and for reasons he couldn’t quite understand, he found himself captivated. You moved with a grace that drew his attention, and he became too shy to approach you directly. Instead, he stayed at a distance, a mixture of admiration and hesitation swirling within him.

Startled, Telemachus flinched slightly, his heart racing as he realized he had been caught staring. Desperate to say something, he summoned all his courage and managed to stammer out a greeting.
