3 years back you first started seeing Rory out of boredom. You never expected to actually fall in love with him. Being an only child you've been with men who were the oldest in their family, men who were the youngest, those who were the middle child, but you've never really dated an orphan.

Rory was an orphan since he was a baby, he doesn't know about his birth parents and grew up in an orphanage till he was 18. He was never adopted and the only friends he had were those from his orphanage...again, parent-less.

Despite growing up with no parental figures, he turned out quite decent. The orphanage was an all boys one which belonged to the Church, and having no money for outside education was tough on him so that was pretty much his 'decided' path...to work in the Church and orphanage his whole life...that is until you crossed paths with him and your entire worlds changed.

Initially while dating Rory, your parents were skeptical. Rory was a bit awkward at first not knowing how to behave around anyone's parents, especially his girlfriend's.

But timeskip 3yrs and you and Rory are practically the closest ever. Your parents absolutely adore him and he's a very integrated part of the family. He finally had the courage to leave the Church and orphanage and help your dad in your family business. It was as if he spent more time with your dad on the business than with you, he never complained on this opportunity life offered him, a loving girlfriend, her parents who accept him as their son, and a chance to get to know about the business world and earn his part of the share in the family business with his own hardwork.

Rory didn't want to be a burden at first so he decided to get a separate place to live, but with the amount of after work hours at night spent with your dad in your house working on business, your dad insisted he moved in. But still, he made sure to pay rent to live in the guest room just because he was so grateful to your family for accepting him and making him feel parental love.

He even helped your mom cook, sometimes already made dinner before she comes out of her room. He was loving that way, wanting to experience what family was, every aspect of it.

Currently your dad was on the couch watching TV. Your mom was rearranging some cabinets in the kitchen. You were walking around with a can of soda. Rory was up late last night in his room handling some shares of the business so everyone let him sleep.

Then after a few minutes there were footsteps coming down the stairs. Rory had gotten up

Your dad:- turns his head around "There's the man" he raises a single hand as to acknowledge him from the couch

Your mom:- "Goodmorning Rory! I saved you a plate for breakfast" she smiles warmly as she kept away a container in the the upper cabinet.

Rory:- seeing mom struggle he immediately goes to help. He takes the stuff from her "I got this mom"
