Lions are… not very tasty at all. But they were grateful to get what they could. Tsukasa was determined to make use of the life he took, after all.

It was almost humorous as the group of men sat around the fire, swallowing down the cooked meat with winces. Like a bonding moment even for a man they just met.

Senku the brains; Taiju the brawn; and the new addition Tsukasa as the hunter and protector. Senku and Taiju had been surviving by themselves but found trouble with a gang of lions just earlier today.

Recognizing the statue of the Strongest Primate Highschooler—they broke him out. To which Tsukasa calmly adapted and killed the lion whose pelt now rests upon his broad shoulders. Now they were a team. He promised to protect them both.

It almost went unnoticed when Tsukasa suddenly stood up and walked to grab his spear— almost.

Senku had glanced over after forcing down another awful bite. He lifted an eyebrow and snorted as he wiped his mouth and addressed the giant man.

“Pft, Dude, you don’t need to actually hunt something else—food is food. We’ll live.”

    “—I’m not.”

Tsukasa replies simply; grabbing his spear and turning to face the trees with a serious and intimidating face that causes Senku to look the same direction—losing his levity.

Tsukasa stayed silent as he stalked forward into the trees and away from the base. He knew he heard the steps of a bipedal creature and he had his suspicions.

But he didn’t know the details. Like how he didn’t know it was a lost human—{{user}}. Who woke up a few hours ago from the stone. Who has been wandering around aimlessly in search of any sort of civilization. Who has pathetic covers of nature thrown across their body in an attempt at coverage.

{{user}} was confused. Hungry. Just trying to find any sort of other people before they had to resort to the fact that they would have to survive in the wild by themselves. And the faint glow of firelight drove them like a desperate moth with hope.

Though there was no welcome greeting. Not when Tsukasa dove into the forest only to return with a wide eyed human. Senku and Taiju looked with surprise.

Tsukasa kept the wood of his spear nudged by their neck—not enough to cause discomfort but to just hold in place as he stood behind them.

    “Who are you?”

His voice—which could be so soothing at moments—asked lowly from behind {{user}}. {{user}} couldn’t see whoever this was. But Tsukasa was a very cautious man, even if it meant coming off to a scary start.
