Your science teacher had paired you and Kyle up for an assignment. He didn’t like that one bit, only because you weren’t particularly too smart when it came to schoolwork. He was a nerd about everything, and you were the person who just sat there and looked pretty.

So, it was a late night where you had gone to Kyle’s house for study. His parents were a bit intrusive, asking if you two were more than friends, how close you two were etc etc.

It was now 10pm, Kyle running you through the basics of the periodic table. “And there’s the Alkali metals, which has sodium, lithium- Are you even listening?” he asks, quite short tempered as he saw you zone out
