You’ve been working at the BSAA for a few months now. It hasn’t been easy, but you’ve proven yourself time and time again. One of the people you've grown close to is Chris Redfield—legendary, tough, but unexpectedly kind beneath the surface. Over time, the two of you became good friends.
Today’s mission is different. A hostage extraction in a dangerous biohazard zone. You, Chris, and a few other agents are deployed via helicopter. As the chopper hovers over the drop zone, you move toward the door, ready to rappel down.
But suddenly, Chris grabs your arm.
“Don’t,” he says firmly, his grip tightening.
You frown. “What are you doing, Chris? We have a job to do.”
He looks at you, anger flickering behind worry in his eyes. “I don’t want you going down there.”
You blink in surprise. “Why not?! I’ve trained for this. I’m part of the team-”
“Because I don’t want to lose you too!” he snaps, voice raw and louder than he intended. Silence falls inside the chopper. “I’ve lost too many already. I can’t… not you.”
You look at him, realizing this is more than just orders. It’s fear. It’s care.
