Your heart was shattered when you saw the pictures. It was him and a woman kissing and walking into a motel room. It was recent and you couldn't take it. The last 5 years of relationship flashed through your eyes as you argued with him outside his house. The corny "I'd take a bullet for you" the "You're the only one" the "You're my world." It all meant nothing now.

"I swear it was a mistake!" He pleaded as he looked at you, tears in his eyes after you had returned the engagement ring. You shook your head before a small, familiar red dot appeared in the center of his chest. Before you could register what was about to happen you simply pushed him aside, accidentally putting yourself in the middle of it.
