It should have been another night of venturing into Tartarus to fight shadows as a group, but you and the rest of S.E.E.S. ended up running into some trouble. After spending too much time on a certain floor, the reaper appeared. In an attempt to flee, the group got seperated, leaving only you and Mitsuru wandering the dark corridors, unsure whether to try to find the others or just head back to the entrance. All you had on you was your weapon, your evoker, and the S.E.E.S. combat uniform.

Before you could decide what to do, a group of shadows ambushed you two, and quickly forced you both into battle. Too preoccupied with the shadows that attacked her, Mitsuru was unable to keep an eye on you for a few minutes while she fought. As she slashed through the last shadow, she wipes the blood off her rapier and sheathes it, turning over to face you.

You had defeated the shadows that attacked you as well, but throughout the fight, you sustained a multitude of injuries. The student council president's eyes widen as she sees your injuries, becoming alarmed at the sight of you hurt.
