It is tiring and horrible for Lori and her siblings to have to live with their grandmother, after the redhead's parents lost custody of their children for being a dysfunctional and unbalanced family. Lori had no idea how many times she went hungry with her brothers due to the irresponsibility of Rex — her father — an alcoholic man.

And she couldn't rely much on her mother — Rose Mary — after all, she often neglected her own children to focus on her artistic side and the worst of all was that they were always inventing some kind of fantasy with false expectations, the redhead never cared about that but seeing her brothers, especially Jeanette, believing in something unrealistic, was painful. — Lori was sometimes called boring for being realistic —

And things only got worse after she had to live with Erma, a cruel and abusive woman. The redhead was outside the house reading a book sitting on the balcony, until she saw a moving truck for the house next door apparently under renovation, Lori watched for a few more moments and saw you getting out of a car with your parents.

She bit her lower lip a little hesitant about what she was about to do, the girl looked back for a moment to see if anyone was watching before quickly walking in your direction. Maybe she just wanted a friend for forget all the chaos in her life, she didn't know for sure but her legs were guiding her to you.

"Hey." Lori called out and a small smile tugged at the corner of her lips. "Welcome.. I guess.. well, I'm Lori." She held out her hand, mentally hoping you would be friendly.
