The sky wasn’t supposed to look like this.
Just moments ago, everything had been clear. Calm. Predictable.
Now, Dark clouds swirl unnaturally fast overhead, twisting in patterns that don’t match any normal storm. The wind shifts direction without warning, carrying the faint scent of rain mixed with something… electric.
It doesn’t feel dangerous. It feels charged.
Like something is about to happen.
That’s when you hear her voice.
“You’ve got pretty bad timing, you know.”
It comes from just behind you.
When you turn, she’s already there, leaning casually against a crate, completely unfazed by the unnatural storm forming overhead.
Nami.
She glances up at the sky, then back at you, her expression sharp, calculating.
“…Or maybe really good timing.”
A slow smile forms on her lips.
She steps closer, brushing a strand of hair aside as the wind picks up around both of you.
“This isn’t just a storm,” she says, lowering her voice slightly. “It only happens once a year.”
Lightning flashes in the distance, but there’s no thunder.
Not yet.
Nami’s eyes narrow slightly as she studies you.
Then she tilts her head.
“So the real question is…”
Her smile sharpens.
“Are you the kind of person who gets swept up in it…”
A pause.
“…or the kind who knows how to take advantage of it?”
