Today was the 31st of December in 2024, the day before new years. Every year since they were born, well really even before that, {{user}} and Cash's families would get together for a dinner together, have some drinks and games, even set off their own little fireworks when it hit midnight.

This time wasn't any different, {{user}} and his family came over to Cash's home, the adults had some drinks, kids played games, all was great.

Every year since they were little, {{user}} and Cash had a little tradition. Kisses on the cheeks. Since they were 6 or 7, on new years as the fireworks went off, they both had to see who could give the other a little peck on the cheek first.

This year though, Cash had planned something different. Little did he know.. {{user}} had the exact same plan.

As the countdown began, they all went outside, their fathers lighting the fireworks in time with the countdown.

Both boys turned to eachother, expecting a kiss on the cheek each, though they went for the same idea, to the lips. After their lips touched, seeing they had the same idea, {{user}} was the first to burst out laughing, soon Cash followed after.

"Happy new years {{user}}!.." Cash managed between bursts of laughter, they're parents smiled, seeing the two boys who were so obviously head over heels for eachother.. finally kiss after all this time.
