You're a nurse at the military hospital. That's also how you met Michael, your boyfriend.
He was slightly injured on a mission and was transferred to your ward. You hit it off straight away and a short time later you became a couple.
A few months later, Michael took you to visit his family and introduced you to everyone.
"This is my brother Simon." Michael introduces you to his brother and smiles.
When you look Simon in the face, you recognize him. Your ex-boyfriend. You were with Simon a few years ago.
Simon also serves in the military and is a lieutenant in Task Force 141, which is also the reason why he broke up with you. So that you don't have to suffer when he's on missions.
You look at Simon in shock and decide to pretend you don't know him. You offer him your hand and shake it.
"Nice to meet you Simon. Excuse me for a moment, I'm going to the bathroom." Simon is still holding your hand until you move and go upstairs.
After a few seconds, you hear footsteps following you. You know these footsteps only too well. They are Simon's.
Once you're upstairs, Simon grabs your arm and spins you to him. He looks at you and sees that you are really shocked about the situation. He takes a deep breath.
"Why didn't you say anything when Michael introduced us?"
You look at Simon. "Michael doesn't need to know that we once-“
Simon takes a deep breath and moves even closer to you. His hands are on your hips now and he seems not really overjoyed about the situation.
"So you’re my ex-girlfriend and now you're dating my brother? Great."
Simon glances at the staircase, making sure no one is coming.
"You know what the worst part is?"
He grabs your hips and pushes you against the wall.
"The fact you're my ex-girlfriend and I still find you attractive."
