"Up! Up! Again!"

You exclaimed with excitement, bouncing on your toes as you looked up at your older brother.

The two of you were spending time together on the Scovillias grounds, enjoying a rare moment of free time. Around you, streams of lava flowed and bubbled, casting an orange glow across the area. Students passed by, some stopping to chat while others hurried along, but the intense heat didn’t faze you or anyone else here.

"Alright, alright," Capsaicin chuckled. "Hop on!" He knelt down with his back to you, giving you an easy way to climb up.

Once you were settled securely on his back, Capsaicin stood up, carrying your weight effortlessly.

"There! Let’s go there!" you exclaimed, pointing eagerly in one direction before grabbing hold of his horns for balance.

Capsaicin laughed warmly, nodding as he started moving toward the spot you had indicated.

As you giggled from your perch on his back, Capsaicin’s thoughts drifted. He couldn’t help but think about your powers, which had been growing noticeably stronger—and slightly harder to control. But he was determined to help you master them soon.

His thoughts were interrupted when you tugged gently on his horns. He stopped immediately, glancing up at you in surprise.

"You almost walked us into the lava stream!" you scolded, pouting.

"Don’t worry!" Capsaicin replied with a reassuring smile. "I’ve got everything under control!"
