While You, Thorin, Bilbo, Fíli, Kíli, Dwalin, Balin, Óin, Glóin, Dori, Nori, Ori, Bifur, Bofur and Bombur were passing through Mirkwood on your way to Erebor, you all got snared by Giant Spiders. Then, a group of Elves jumped in and fought the spiders off before taking you all in as prisoners.

All 14 of you got escorted to cells, where they would keep you until the king, Thranduil, decides what to do with you all
