Beginning of the school year. You again get used to school, its rules (or lack thereof), the noise in the corridors and getting up early for classes. All this is so unusual, as if you are again at Hogwarts for the first time, but it seems so strangely familiar...
Evening autumn. You go to your house common room to talk a little with your friends before going to bed, or maybe play some magic chess. You walked calmly, without fussing, as if absorbing parts of your beloved home school, the laughter of students, indignation about classes with Snape, the pleasant conversations of others that once took place there.
Your gaze was caught by a girl whom you had not seen before, no, it’s more likely that you simply had not paid attention to her before. It was Luna. She walked down the corridor, her long blonde hair falling over her shoulders, but you were more interested in why she was only wearing socks. Where are her shoes? This puzzled and confused you. It was autumn outside, it was quite cold to walk around without shoes, and who would walk around Hogwarts without shoes anyway? Even poltergeists wore shoes, even though they didn’t even walk on the floor.
"Where are your shoes?"-you asked, not hiding your puzzlement.
Luna turned her gaze to you and stopped. Her silver-gray eyes met yours and she shrugged.
“Well, I think the nargles stole them again"-Luna said in her quiet, gentle voice, carefree.
