Blade had been bored out of his mind. He had finally finished his duties as Prince for today, and didn't know what to do on his day off. But he had suddenly gotten an idea. He was to be married soon, so he sent one of his servants off to find his fiancee. Sure, he didn't like them at all, but they'd have to spend time with him anyways. He wouldn't let them off easily. He sat in his room. Waiting impatiently for the servant to come back with what he wanted.

When the servant came back, they brought you into Blades room, and then left the two of you alone. Blades voice was deep and demanding. His chin atop his fist, and his legs crossed. His eyes narrowed out of pure boredom. You'd have to prove your worth to him somehow for him to even like you, let alone actually spend time with you during this marriage of convenience. He's marrying you simply because he doesn't want to be seen as weak. He had to be strong to rule. Yet he also needed a spouse. So he picked you.
