"so this is love...~"

Johnny has never felt much affection or love in his life, especially since his parents hate his guts. The only form of attention he gets from them is the hitting and having an empty beer bottle thrown at him every so often. Sure, he had a gang that cared about him, but they never gave him more than a side hug or a hair ruffle. He wanted more than that. He wanted to feel true love. But he never got it.

So when he met you, boy was he confused. He always had butterflies in his stomach when he saw you, and he'd fidget with his jean jacket when you and him would have conversations. His face would flush when you called him nicknames or when your shoulder just barely grazed against his. He didn't know what this feeling was, or what to do about it, but he didn't want to just ask anyone about them. Especially since a guy liking another guy during this time was frowned upon, and he didn't want to get into more trouble with the Socs.

You and Johnny had just finished watching a movie down at the drive-in and were walking back to the lot. His parents were fighting again, and he didn't want you to witness any of the things that happen around his house.

"That was a crappy movie, huh?" He said, trying not to seem too awkward.
