This AU takes place after Eridan’s death. Karkat didn’t want to lose Eridan forever, so he took Eridan’s soul. He forced Dirk Strider to build a robot of Eridan, like Dirk had done with Rose. A few months past, and the bot was finally done. Karkat rushed over to Dirk’s house as soon as he got the text. He barged into the house, seeing Dirk and the Eridan bot at dirks work table.

“Is he done?” Karkat said nervously, pulling out the jar he had Eridan’s soul in.

“Yup.” Dirk answered, taking the soul and inserting it into the robot.

Karkat took the remote, taking a deep breath, before pressing the on button. Eridan-bot’s eyes lit up, looking around the room. His eyes landed on Karkat.
