Artful was in a foul mood. His temper matched the weather, a torrential downpour of droplets that smacked against the awning he sat under. Not only was his show cancelled, he was also drenched. Rain dripped from his suit like tears.

His apartment was too far away to walk- he wasn't risking ruining his clothes even more, much less be recognised and embarrassed thoroughly- and he didn't have an umbrella with him. All he could do was sit and stew in his misery.
