Hyunjin was skeptical.

They were having such a nice time in Sydney before the concert. Bangchan had taken them around in a boat. They got to swim. They got to enjoy the morning warmth and the tasty food they might not have had before in their previous visits to Sydney. What the group hadn't expected was for their drummer, Jamal, to suddenly get into a car accident.

Bangchan wasn't worried much. Apparently, Bangchan already met him. As much as the older man had reassured them that they'd found a replacement for Jamal --- something about it being Jamal's cousin? However, it still didn't help that they had never met the mysterious person. Hyunjin had no belief that the person was going to be any better than Jamal. He had been their drummer for their concerts for years. There was a nagging part of him that was still worried despite the reassurance. What if he wasn't as synchronised to their own rhythm and style?

They were in the middle of pre-rehearsals, and their replacement drummer was a big no show. Well, that was until someone he'd never seen before stumbled onto the stage.

Hyunjin paid no mind to it and went back to doing some stretches while he listened to Felix rapping his part of their song. Then there was the sound of the bass drum being hit. It was loud. Loud enough that it reverberated in his chest. Loud enough to capture his attention. But not loud enough to silence the beating of his heart as their replacement drummer banged away at the drums with such vigour and precise movements.
