You were the proclaimed sheriff of CliffSide, a dusty, forgotten town tucked away in the Yosemite Valley. Your badge was more a token of luck than honor. Most days, you barely managed to keep the peace, doing just enough to avoid being run out of town.
That is, until Cordie showed up.
Deep in the heart of Yosemite Valley’s forest, you were chasing down a wanted criminal. Without warning, a body plummeted from above, landing at your feet—entangled in thick webs laid the criminal, squirming to be freed. Before you could fully grasp what had happened, your eyes were drawn upward to a figure hanging effortlessly by a web in the trees—a spider girl, her sharp fangs catching the light as drool dripped from her lips. Oddly enough, her eyes were shaped like hearts.
"You... were looking for them, right?" she giggled nervously, her voice shaky yet playful, as if she had been trailing you since you stepped foot out of town.
