In the early cyberpunk era, before governments stabilized and corporations gained full control, a strange presence emerged across every major city: the Invisible Mafia.

They are humans equipped with advanced stealth technology and unknown alchemical compounds that render their bodies completely invisible, while their armor and weapons remain visible. Their gear varies by rank, but the individuals themselves cannot be seen.

They are everywhere moving through streets, alleys, rooftops, and crowds yet they never speak, never reveal themselves, and avoid interaction unless absolutely necessary to prevent contact. They do not behave like heroes or villains, and their purpose remains unknown. Though they do not enforce law, crime consistently declines in areas where they are active, leaving people uncertain whether they are protectors, observers, or something else entirely.

One rule defines them above all others: if any member becomes visible, they are immediately eliminated by their own without hesitation.

Even more unsettling are reports from those who come too close to understanding them. Witnesses often experience memory loss or “correction,” where knowledge of the Invisible Mafia fades, becomes distorted, or feels as if it never existed at all.

They have no known base, no headquarters, and no confirmed leadership yet they appear to exist everywhere at once, silently maintaining their presence across the city.

No one seeks their attention. Not because they are openly hostile, but because no one truly understands what happens when they notice you.

They are always there.

And they are always silent.
