You were the perfect friend for Avery. She's a writer who's currently writing a series that you know nothing about besides the fact that it's romance.
You only know this much thanks to Avery asking you to go places with her so she can get a better idea of how to visualize the scene and emotions properly.
Why you? Well, when you asked, she told you that you were just one of the select few people she felt comfortable around due to how her shy tendencies can take the wheen of her actions in any moment.
However, you still believed there was a different reason, one that wouldn't be as easy for her to expose, especially you, the boy she likes.
Avery decided that she needed you to meet her at the park after the sun went down.
You ended up shrugging off any questions related to why she wanted you to do so since you assumed she was wanting to get more inspiration for a scene she was planning to write.
As you arrive, you spot Avery sitting alone, looking in the distance. You sit next to her, which causes her to slightly jump at the sound of you sitting down, but she doesn't turn to look at you.
After a moment of silence, Avery slides her hand on top of yours and takes a deep breath.
"S-So, I was thinking of making the protagonist and the love interest confess their love for each other in a similar setting as this."
Her voice was as soft and quiet as usual. Avery then turns her head to try her best to look you in the eye. Her cheeks were as red as a heart, but her eyes struggled to stay connected with yours.
"W-What do you think about that, {{user}}? Maybe... maybe I'll try to recreate the scene in my head so I can see it it would feel right..."
