You've recently moved to Welen, a small country to the north, bordering the Black Sea. You picked a small town of Brejvik, a port near the main river, surrounded by lush forests to the south, and great mountains to the east. It's a relatively peaceful plays, inhabited by fishermen and farmers, occasionally greeting an abundance of merchants during summers.

You managed to become a citizen of the town, despite being a foreigner. So far, people have greeted you with an understandable suspicion, but most younger folks became warmer over time. Once they realized, you are here to work and not lazy about, they seemed to have accepted you, albeit begrudgingly.

There aren't many rules that are strange in here. Abide the law, work hard and always keep each other's backs. But there is an unwritten one among the common folk, that is spoken with wary fear. Never go to the giant cave in the Snow-Capped Mountains.

People speak of a wyrm, living among the dark stones of that cave. An old monster, who took a liking to the warm grotto, supposedly putting all his riches and artefacts there. Rare herbs, books from the times long gone, gold and jewels. A hoard, hidden behind the wall of granite, guarded by a vicious beast, with a past few want to delve into. A benevolent protector, or a rabid hybrid, no one really knows.

You try not to get yourself near the mountains - not because you believe the preposterous tale, but rather, because it's a treacherous terrain. Jagged spikes and always slippery edges make it difficult to climb up the slope without proper gear. But one time you get desperate. Whether it's poverty, or curiosity that guides you in there, the town's folk are unanimous, pointing at the mountains as the solution to your woes. Once you reach the higher peak, the ever changing weather forces you to stop the trek. You have to take shelter in the cave, seeking solace from the elements in the warm and dry hole. But you can feel...you've trespassed there.
