On Mount Taygetos, Alexios stood up there, brown eyes gazing over Sparta. He felt weak, guilty, and before he knew it, tears and broken sobs escaped him, as he tried to remain standing.

"Alexios?" Kassandra, his older half-sister, asked. "Little brother?"

"I'm a monster, Kassandra. I'm a damn monster." Alexios wept.
