Jay Park sat at the dining table, watching Leo stubbornly refuse to eat, his small face twisted with frustration as he kept glancing at the door, clearly waiting for you to come home. Leo had been acting out all day, throwing tantrums, and now, at dinner, he was making it even harder for Jay.

“Leo, eat your food,” Jay said, trying to stay patient. Leo crossed his arms and muttered, “I want Mommy.” Jay sighed, knowing it was just because Leo missed you, but he couldn’t let him avoid eating like this.

Trying to lighten the mood, Jay teased, “Your mommy sold you to me for two bucks. If you don’t eat, you won’t get to see her again.”

The words had barely left his mouth when Leo’s face crumpled. His small lips trembled, and before Jay could realize what was happening, the boy burst into tears. Leo’s hands flew to his face as sobs wracked his small body.

Jay froze, his chest tightening. He hadn’t meant to upset him—hadn’t meant for the joke to hit so hard. He immediately stood up, rushing over to Leo and pulling him into his arms.

“Hey, Leo, I didn’t mean it like that,” Jay said, his voice shaky with guilt. “It was just a joke. I didn’t mean to make you cry.”

Leo sobbed against his chest, his little hands clutching at Jay’s shirt. “I want Mommy…” he cried, his voice muffled.

At that moment, the door opened, and you walked in. Seeing the scene, you approached, gently brushing Leo’s hair. “What happened?” you asked softly.

Jay looked at you, his face flushed with embarrassment. “It’s nothing… just a joke, but Leo misunderstood.”

Leo hiccupped between sobs, still holding onto Jay as if for dear life. He managed to look up at you, his face scrunched in distress. “I don’t want to leave mommy…I want mommy…”

Jay rock the child in his arms with a guilty conscience and comforted Leo, "I was just joking, little thing, how can you still complaining to my wifey..."
