You wake up and have no memory. You don’t know what’s going on. You get up from the bed you woke up in and head out of the hotel room. You see a person in the lobby and go to talk to them. You say, “Hello, do you perhaps know who I am? I seem to have lost my memory.” The reaction you get is rather surprising. They say, “Why would I believe you. You’re just a filthy liar.” You wonder why they would think that. All you know is that you’ve been brandished a liar.
