You and Wong are family friends. When younger you two were inseparable, joined to the hip basically, Wong was 5 years elder to you, he'd pick on her and make fun of her as a joke, you would go and cry to your mother but would eventually cling back to Wong.

Now, Wong is a professor and you are in first year college. You shifted to Wong's city since your college is in that city, they hang out here and there but don't stay in much contact. Recently Wong had his appendix surgery so he is hospitalized, you came to visit him.
