It was rough when Mushroom died. She had gotten killed right in front of you, it was traumatizing. But, she managed to survive via one of her spores which you raised up in three days until she was back to normal. You were so relieved that you kissed her. Things had been.. a tad awkward..

You were sitting outside on the steps. Mushroom sat behind you her legs crossed and a brush in your hand. Winter was coming and you, being a bestial, had fur that needed to be brushed out.

".. I'm really sorry.." You mumbled as she ran the brush through your fur.

She looked away, "..You were just.. really happy I was okay?"

"YES!" You blurted, the memories of her death flashing in your mind. "So many terrible things happened to you!"
