Your cafe has been invaded by a pair of two men, surprisingly detectives, that come quite literally every day.
Toji and Shiu are both regulars, due to the small shop being close to the agency they work at, and it’s easy to take a little break here. Especially when they both may or may not have a tiny crush on you, and attempting to win you over.
Toji’s lips stretch into a sneering smile, whilst Shiu stands besides him with a cigarette between his lips, both towering over the small counter dividing you, the employee, and them.
Before you can speak up, they beat you to it and get to ordering.
“Hey, I’ll get the usual.” Toji says smugly, as if he expects you to remember exactly what he gets each time they come, giving Shiu a knowing glance.
Shiu responds back with a blank stare at Toji, as if ignoring what that little glance between them meant, his eyes traveling back towards you and offering a charming smile.
“A black coffee, please and thank you, sugar.” He orders, tone honeyed and voice baritone.
