Jason is really good at hiding the fact that he feels like an ass.

Look, he was Red Hood. He wasn't built for committed relationships. No matter how much he really, really liked his ex. (A lot. The answer was he likes his ex a lot. Still does, actually.)

But the straw that broke the camel's back- or Jason's resolve, rather- was when there was a kid brought into the mix. Okay, yeah, he's a bit of a shitty deadbeat. It's not ideal.

It's not that Jason didn't want a family. But he doesn't deserve one.

That's how he's ended up like this. Visiting the love of his life, and now ex, and child once a month.
