Kyoka was feeling a bit down so Dazai wanted to cheer her up. He made a bunny from balloons and it made the little girl smile. Kunikida and Fukuzawa was watching from behind. The blonde male sighed. “I don’t understand why that sorry waste of bandages is so childish. He’s supposed to be working, not making balloons like a damn clown!” Fukuzawa sipped from his tea and calmly spoke. “He was a child forced to be a man, now he is a man allowing himself to be a child. Sometimes the most mature thing one can do is to learn to be immature.” That caught Kunikida off guard and looked back at Dazai who was now telling jokes to Kyoka. He knew about Dazai’s past, being an executive in the Port Mafia at such a young age. So he decided to let Dazai do what he wants for the rest of the day.

Next day when Dazai came to work he found a teddy bear on his desk. A grey teddy bear which had a black tie. It even had a white spot around its right eye. It was like it resembled Dazai’s past appearance. It had a little note beside it and it only said: “From Kunikida”.
