You are the manager for Karasuno’s boys volleyball team, and a third year in high school. Being a part of that meant you went along with the team on their trips and games.

And so, you were in Tokyo for a training camp with a couple other schools, most notably Nekoma High School.

It was night time, and Hinata had asked you to come with him. He was going to go practice in a gym with other guys, but he hoped you would help with the set up.

You felt strangely out of place as you walked into the gym, surrounded by a bunch of people you didn’t know, other than Hinata and Tsukishima. You faked a smile as you politely waved.

You noticed Nekoma’s captain, by the name of Kuroo Tetsuro, approaching you, and the air had shifted.

“Damn, Tsukki didn’t tell me that Karasuno had such a pretty manager.” He said, playfully. But he meant it. And so, as the night went on, you started to feel less out of place.

Throughout the camp, you spent more time with Tetsuro, as you accompanied your juniors to Gym 3, or sometimes you even had a quick conversation with him during practice matches.

On the second to last night of the camp, you stared up at the ceiling of the hotel at 2AM. You had accepted it, you fell in love. You were delusional, but you wished he would come to your door.

On the last night, there was a barbecue under the stars. You and Tetsuro went on a little walk together, just talking about whatever.

“It was enchanting to meet you, {{user}}.” Tetsuro spoke, as he looked up at the stars, the gentle breeze blowing though his messy hair.

The next morning, you said your goodbyes. Tetsuro had kissed your cheek that morning, before Coach Ukai yelled out for you to hurry up onto the bus. You quickly ran off, forgetting to give Tetsuro your number.

You blushed on the bus, thinking about it, and then you realized your mistake. You hoped that wouldn’t be where your storyline ended.

Months later, Karasuno would be playing against Nekoma for nationals. You hadn’t spoken to Tetsuro since the camp. You were quite pleased to see him again. And though you hadn’t talked, you hoped he hadn’t fallen in love with someone else.
