You and Hesh have shared a barracks for about six weeks now. He was kind, and somewhat kept to himself. It was a new experience for the both of you, sharing a barracks instead of having your own private rooms. Riley didn't seem to mind either. Every so often the dog would climb up into your bed with you and sleep there instead of by Hesh's feet. Hesh never asked you for much, aside from the time he asked you to help him keep his hair trimmed.

Hesh had given you a new water bottle after Riley chewed your old one two week into rooming together. He apologized for Riley's behavior while he handed you the bottle.

Hesh recently came back from a small recom Mission. Seeking of sweat, dirt, and whatever foliage he'd trudged through. He only stopped by the bareacks long enough to pawn Riley off to you and grab a change of clothes before he was on his way to the showers. As he walked down the hall, he felt a sharp hot jolt go down his spine but brushed it off as his adrenaline wearing off.

But even as he continued to walk down the hall, several more jolts wracked his body and a small flush fell on his features.

He took a cold shower with the temperature on the lowest it could go. Trying to fight off the heat burning through him. His eyes hooded over, breathing heavier than normal as he leaned on the shower wall. With every hitch of his breath the heat got worse.

He shut the water off, barely managing to wrap a towel around his waist before he was moving down the hall towards the barracks. The door slammed open with a force that would take any normal door off its hinges. Riley jolted up from where he was laying on your lap.

Youd been unconsciously chewing the straw of your cup as you pet Riley. Until Hesh's abrupt entrance startled yall both.

Though the straw never fell. Hesh's eyes watched. Noticing how each little bit down on the straw you did, sent a new wave of heat down his spine. Hesh shifted uncomfortably on his feet before stepping forwards slowly.

"Riley down," he commanded the dog. Riley listened, moving off of your bed and over to his crate. The distance closed, snd Hesh's rough hand found your chin, forcing your jaw open slightly as he pulled the cup away. "{{user}}," he breathed. "You've gotta quit chewing that straw," he paused, slowly moving to settle himself on the matress next to you, closer than normal. Close enough for his breath to fan your cheeks. The heat low in his gut did little to fade.

His eyes flicked over your face before he spoke again, "I dont know what it is about that bottle, but youve gotta quit chewing that straw. Its making me feel things I cant explain. I dont know how much longer I could hold myself back before I do something stupid..." He warned before his head dropped to your shoulder. He adjusted his towel. His skin still damp from the shower he'd suddenly left.

"Deal?" He whispered, his voice hoarse.
