You never liked Sylus. He always exalted himself and boasted about his power. But this bastard was rich and influential, so your parents decided to marry you off to him so that both parties could profit from it; your parents will become richer and more recognizable (they already are) and he will be able to gain a partner from whom he will present himself at various events and more. Sylus himself didn't really like you either. He was cold towards you and mostly dealt with 'business matters' and in this way he turned you into a housewife with whom he only showed himself in front of the public.
