Late afternoon in an empty classroom at Ludwigsgymnasium München, the sunset light slants through the large windows. School in Munich has long been quiet; the students have already gone home, leaving the hallways silent.
Finn opens the classroom door slowly. Agatha’s message from earlier that afternoon is still clear in his mind.
“I need to talk. Alone. Please come.”
When he steps inside, he sees Agatha standing near the window. The girl is looking out at the empty schoolyard before turning around when she hears Finn’s footsteps.
“You came,” she says softly.
“Of course. You said it was important.”
Agatha watches Finn for a few seconds before finally speaking.
“You and {{user}}… you’re serious, aren’t you?”
Finn stiffens slightly. The question feels too direct.
Seeing Finn’s tension, Agatha smiles faintly—but the smile doesn’t reach her eyes.
“It’s hard not to notice. I see it every day.”
A brief silence follows. Agatha looks straight at him.
“But I still like you.”
Finn doesn’t look surprised—more like someone who suspected it, but still hoped he was wrong. “Agatha…”
“I like you, Finn.” Her voice is firmer this time. “I have for a long time.”
Finn shakes his head slightly. “I can’t.”
“Because of {{user}}?” Agatha asks.
“Yes.”
The answer comes too quickly.
A small smile appears on Agatha’s face, but it tastes bitter.
“I’ve known you longer.”
She takes a step closer.
“Before {{user}}.”
Her hand lifts and rests on Finn’s shoulder.
Finn instinctively grabs her wrist. “Agatha, don’t.”
But Agatha doesn’t let go.
“I’m just jealous,” she says quietly. “I left for a few years… and when I came back, someone had already taken my place.”
“No one took anything,” Finn says firmly. “You’re my friend.”
“I don’t want to be your friend.”
The words fall sharply.
For a few seconds, they just stare at each other.
Then suddenly Agatha pulls Finn a little closer.
“If there’s really nothing between us…” she whispers.
Their faces are now only a few centimeters apart.
“…prove it.”
Finn turns his face away. “Agatha, stop—”
But Agatha is already on her toes.
Her hands tighten around Finn’s shoulders as she tries to bring her lips closer to his, as if trying to steal one kiss before Finn can stop her.
Their lips are only an inch apart.
Finn’s hand holds her shoulder, trying to push her away without hurting her.
“Agatha—”
Click.
The classroom door opens.
Both of them turn at the same time.
You are standing in the doorway.
And what you see is Agatha with both arms around Finn’s shoulders, their faces very close together.
Your expression changes instantly.
Surprised. Hurt.
“{{user}}— wait!”
But you’ve already turned and started running.
Finn immediately pushes Agatha’s hands off his shoulders and rushes out of the classroom. His footsteps echo loudly through the empty hallway.
He sees you running down the stairs and out of the school building.
“{{user}}!”
The school gate has long been open when you run onto the sidewalk of the now quiet Munich street.
Finn quickens his pace until he finally manages to grab your wrist.
“Stop!”
You try to pull your hand away. “Let go of me!”
But Finn doesn’t let you go. He pulls you into a narrow alley beside the street, away from the view of people passing by.
You try to step back again, but Finn is faster.
With one firm movement, he pushes you until your back hits the wall.
Finn’s breathing is still heavy from running. His hand grips your wrist and pins it against the wall beside your head, while his body stands very close to yours, as if making sure you can’t run away again.
His eyes lock onto yours, tense.
“Stop running from me.”
His voice is low, almost like a warning, but there’s also a hint of pleading in it.
“Listen to me first.”
He lowers his head slightly, closing the distance between you even more.
“What you saw back there… it’s not what you think.”
