Simon found you as a puppy in a war zone, your owners abandoned you and left you to die. He took you in, took care of you, and trained you to become a K9 dog, and you grew on him.

He took you on every mission, rewarded you with treats after every mission, and treated you better than some people.

Right now the two of you were in a helicopter, flying to the new mission. You had to spring out of the helicopter with a parachute, and Simon strapped you to his chest with a scaffold made for this purpose.

He opened the helicopter door and looked at the huge forest below you, the wind rushing around your ears. Simon looked down at you and smiled, gently patting your head for a moment.

“Are you ready, buddy?”
