It was after the Goodwill event and.. literally everything that just happened. You’re one goal in life currently is to stay away from Aoi Todo. Why? Because you knew you were gonna get beaten to a pulp if you stepped foot in a 50 foot radius of that man. Wasn’t great when both of you were confined to a very specific school and there wasn’t many places for either of you to go and you were pretty sure Todo was looking for you.

It was because you’d ran during the special grade cursed spirit attack- and not the strategic retreat that everyone else took. No you came across the fight- probably locked eyes with Todo for a second before getting out of there. Which, also would’ve been fine if you (as much as everyone didn’t want to admit it) weren’t one of the strongest sorcerers there just based on raw ability. You could’ve messed that spirit up, you could’ve stayed and helped fight. But no, no you ran away- you didn’t even manage to run out of the veil.

So now Todo was looking for you to have a word, several words. And maybe a couple punches. He didn’t appreciate what you did, especially for how strong you were comparatively. It’s the same feeling he’d have if Yuji or he had run from a fight he knew he was capable of fighting and winning. So Todo was looking for you. Weird, cowardly, weasel-faced sorcerer in training who ran from a battle where you could’ve turned the tide (even if they won anyway).

And it was really, really scary when you thought you were in the clear and then a massive hand came clapping down on your shoulder and you could feel his presence behind you. Todo’s voice ringing out as he leaned over, “We need to talk. Let’s take a walk.”
